Commercial Litigation Solicitor

I am working with a leading Top 200 regional law firm in Leeds who are looking for an ambitious junior Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join their impressive team in the city centre.

The firm have an excellent reputation both regionally and nationally and act for an impressive list of blue-chip national clients, whilst maintaining a more friendly regional feel and culture.

I have spoken to one of the Partners in the team and they are looking to add a Commercial Litigation Solicitor between 1-4 years PQE to join them covering a broad range of commercial litigation matters. They are particularly well known for their work in the retail and hospitality sectors but have a strong client base across a multitude of sectors.

The team consists of 3 Partners, a Senior Solicitor, 2 mid-level Solicitors, a Chartered Legal Executive, Trainee Solicitor plus support staff.

The department has grown year on year and is continuing to be busy in these unprecedented times, so much so that no one was off on furlough leave due to the continued instructions coming into the team. The firm is one of the most secure in the region, posting impressive financial result and being one of the larger commercial practices who operate on a completely debt free basis which has continued in these uncertain times.

The role is working in the office 2-3 days a week on a rota basis as things currently stand with it returning to an office-based role in the mid-term, although the firm do have a flexible working policy.

As a firm they really do grown their own and this is an outstanding opportunity to join a team where in the long term you will have the definite opportunity to progress.

The culture is friendly yet professional, you will be given responsibility from the outset and not treated as just a number.

Salary is competitive relative to experience with great benefits.

If you would like to hear more about this opportunity please contact Graham Rawlinson at QED Legal for a confidential chat.

An acronym of the latin phrase quod erat demonstrandum which translates as "thus it is demonstrated" or "that which was to be demonstrated". It is most often used as an annotation at the end of a complex mathematical, scientific or philosophical argument to show that the author had proven what he had set out to prove. In recent times it has also been translated as "Quite Easily Done".

As a recruiter you have to network and speak to large amounts of people and lots of law firms to really understand the market and have the connections to match people with opportunity quickly when the time arises.
