Due to expansion an ambitious, commercially minded Litigation Solicitor is wanted for an exciting lead opportunity in the market town office of a revitalised West Yorkshire law firm. Applications are invited from motivated and positively charged Litigation Solicitors looking for a new challenge and an opportunity to build on 5 years general litigation experience and take the lead and grow their own department. Salary is upwards of £34,000 with blue sky progression.

The successful Litigation Solicitor will join an expanding law firm at an exciting time in their history. Caseloads will be general in nature and include breach of contract, shareholder and partnership fall outs, contested debt recovery, employment, neighbour disputes, landlord and tenant, boundary disputes, consumer matters, negligence and contentious probate. Day to day duties will include taking instructions, issuing proceedings, drafting witness statements and preparing trial bundles, negotiating settlements and briefing counsel. The promotion and development of the department's legal services will be a key aspect of the role.
