Job Details
We are seeking a Family Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with experience in running a private caseload of legal aid matters.
This is a full-time permanent position, which can be based in either Coventry or Leamington Spa. Applications are invited from local candidates, living in the Coventry and Warwickshire area.
Our Client is a successful and growing, well-established, multi-office law firm; very much an employer of choice in the local area. You will be fully supported and given every opportunity to establish and progress your career as an integral part of the Family Law team.
The role will involve running your own caseload of family private legal aid matters including children, finance, Injunctions and Domestic Violence. You will be responsible for your own advocacy and attendance at Court, ensuring accurate applications for and maintenance of Legal Aid Certificates and ensuring efficient time recording and preparation of bills, maintenance of client files and preparation of full attendance notes.
Suitable candidates will live locally to Coventry or Leamington Spa and have sound experience of running a private caseload of legal aid matters. You will ideally have experience of business development and marketing within a Lexcel accredited law firm and experience of using case management systems. Own transport and a full UK driving licence are essential as you will be required to travel between offices.
Location: Coventry or Leamington Spa
Salary: £30-40k dependant on experience plus a fabulous range of benefits including five weeks' annual leave, rising to 27 days, plus bank holidays, - healthcare, pension, ongoing training and development and regular salary reviews
