Job Details
Job Description: A Local Authority in the North East is looking for a Locum Education Solicitor on a temporary basis for 3 months initially from January 2021 to work 3-4 days a week. The role will be fully remote and a laptop will be couriered to you.
Duties will include:
- Carrying out Appeals to the SEND Tribunal
- Transferring an EHC Plan between different Local Authority areas
- Dealing with Complaints to the Local Government Ombudsman
Applications will be considered from Qualified Solicitors with a minimum of 5 years PQE as well as previous Local Authority experience.
Hourly rate: £40-50 Umbrella (excluding VAT)
