Senior Corporate / Commercial Solicitor - Sheffield

Our client is a highly regarded South Yorkshire firm - they are looking for a senior Corporate / Commercial Solicitor to join its growing team in Sheffield.

You will be a senior lawyer with a track record in the Corporate/Commercial space - this hire is at Director level, although they will consider experienced Senior Associates looking to take a step up ( 6/7+ years PQE, no upper limit). The firm requires someone that is commercially minded with business development skills to support plans for growth and develop the Corporate/Commercial offering. This will be a client facing role from the off-set and an enthusiasm for business development and growing the business is essential.

The Corporate / Commercial team has maintained momentum despite a challenging year and is exceeding all financial targets. The team is a very busy and whilst a following is not required, it would certainly be an advantage. The team advises on a range of corporate and commercial matters, including asset and business sales, M&As, re-organisations, shareholder agreements and investments, within a variety of sectors. You can expect to be challenged with complex legal work.
