This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Civil Litigation Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a specialist litigation team in the West Sussex area.

You'll be joining a niche civil litigation firm providing high-quality services to a wide range of clients (including individuals, businesses, and insolvency practitioners) where you'll handle a complex litigation caseload with a focus on Professional Negligence, Financial Services/Consumer Credit, and Insolvency related claims from inception through to trial and negotiating settlements.

The firm have a good flow of incoming work from their loyal client base where claims are pursued through a combination of litigation, alternative dispute resolution and compensation bodies such as the Financial Services Compensation Scheme, Financial Ombudsman Service, and the Pension Ombudsman.

You must be a qualified Civil Litigation Solicitor with at least 3 years PQE in running and successfully litigating cases from inception to trial. Experience of Professional Negligence, Financial Services or Insolvency would be highly desirable although not essential as full training will be given. Experience of managing a small team of solicitors, paralegals, and administrative staff, would be a distinct advantage as the business grows. You will be used or open to developing and building client relationships with a real focus on commercial urgency to get deals done. Knowledge of Proclaim would be beneficial.

In addition, the firm are expanding and have a particular interest in growing their insolvency department so would be keen to speak with Litigators with experience in Landlord and Tenant matters as well as employment claims.
