Commercial Solicitor - In-House

The Company

The Role

They are seeking a Commercial Solicitor 3-5 years PQE to join their team in Bristol, Somerset.

You will work directly with the General Counsel, who is an expert in their field.

The role will include but not be limited to duties such as:

• Managing operational legal matters (including areas such as corporate transactional, IP, potential litigation, secretarial, labour and commercial);
• Negotiating, writing and executing a wide variety of commercial agreements and contracts;
• Advising internal stakeholders on contract status, legal risks and legal liabilities;
• Researching and advising on legal issues that could impact the company;
• Supporting the General Counsel;
• Providing training to the company on legal matters

Requirements:

• Experience providing commercial support including drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts;
• Broad legal knowledge (corporate law, litigations, IP, labour law, etc.);
• Experience with corporate governance issues;
• Used to a client-centric, deadline-driven environment;
• Autonomous where possible, but also not afraid to ask questions.
