The Role Working closely with Regulatory bodies the Barrister will prosecute professionals in alleged misconduct cases. Advocacy typically involves interim and substantive hearings. Hearings are usually contested and in the majority of cases Opportunities to appear in the High Court and the First Tier Tribunal on appeals from decisions of the regulators. The Candidate A qualified Barrister with at least 2+ year's call, ideally, with previous experience in the field of regulation and professional discipline is strongly preferred, it is not essential. Experience or the ability to supervise more junior lawyers is essential. Salary to dependent upon experience.
