A UK Top 50 law firm, are looking for an experienced Legal Analyst, to join their Financial Services Disputes and Investigations (FSDI) team. This is a full-time permanent position, in which you would be based in their state-of-the-art Bristol office (however the role is remote during COVID-19, and there will be flexibility when we move back to “normality”). Notably, this is an excellent opportunity to work within a Chambers and Legal 500 ranked team.

This is what you’ll be doing

  • Providing legal and business information to the FSDI team, in regards to existing and potential client relationships
  • Take a leading role on key projects with management information and process support
  • Assist with the operation management of projects, and report to stakeholders on KPIs and performance against SLAs
  • Identify opportunities and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and innovation for firm and their clients
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly MI reports (including statistical and graphical analysis)
  • Act as a point of contact between fee earners within the FSDI team and support functions, on systems and technology issues

The experience you’ll bring to the team

  • Experience working as an Analyst in a law firm or within a professional services environment is essential
  • It is essential that you have experience in analysing data and MI reporting, and are able to make improvements and recommendations from this data
  • Advanced Excel skills, and preferable knowledge of Microsoft 365 stack
  • An interest in legal project management
  • Having a legal background, either academically or in practice, would be desirable
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic and a team player
