Head of Family Department

This reputed and established South West firm is looking for a new Family Solicitor to head up its family department. 

You will work with and manage a small family team. The legal aid and care work is handled by a very experienced fee earner, and you will concentrate on the privately funded work to include matrimonial, children and finance matters. 

To apply for this role, you will ideally already have been in a similar position, or be looking for that next step up in your legal career. Preferably you will already have some managerial experience and be able to lead by example. 

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years' experience within family law and be a qualified solicitor or legal executive, and membership of Resolution and the Family Law panel would be an advantage. 

Video interviews will be held where appropriate. 

This role is likely to be based in Bridgwater, with the possibility of other Somerset locations. You should be a car driver with your own transport in order to visit neighbouring offices when needed. 

Excellent salary up to £55k depending on experience plus benefits, including healthcare, life assurance and a car parking space.

Full time hours preferred, but those wishing to work 4 days a week should also apply.
