A leading Top 100 firm based in Leeds are looking for a talented junior planning lawyer to join their market leading team in the city centre.

The Planning & Environment team are recognised by regionally and nationally for the quality of the work they regularly advise and the expertise of the lawyers who work in the team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior lawyer NQ – 2 years to join a busy department where they will get exposure to hands on work from the outset, working under and learning from some of the leading lawyers in this niche area of law.

Day to day you will be acting for and advising a wide range of clients including commercial, public authority and private bodies, across multiple areas including retail, waste and energy projects, and residential work.

The team deal with matters from cradle to grave advising on both non-contentious and contentious issues in CPO and Land Tribunals as well as Judicial Review proceedings.

Due to the structure and history of the firm all the work you will do here in Leeds will be excellent quality on a par with work ordinarily kept in London.

To be considered for this role you should be a junior Planning Lawyer having trained at a large well respected commercial practice or a specialist boutique planning firm.

Salary is highly competitive based on level of PQE and general experience with great benefits.
