Advocate lawyer - Motoring Criminal Defence (Private client)
Projected earnings £50k to £70k depending on location. Fixed fee per hearing
£150 to £400 (£1000 per trial for exceptional candidates). We operate a flexible non-exclusivity agreement which can be run alongside other work.
A role has become available for advocate lawyer in criminal defence motoring law with a niche in drink driving cases.
You will work self-employed under a panel agreement. The role will most suit freelancers as duty solicitor or agency work for other firms can be carried out alongside the position.
You will work as a team alongside a reviewing lawyer and a caseworker. We cover all Courts in England and Wales.
You must be a qualified Solicitor or Barrister with experience as a criminal advocate. All applicants must have a practicing certificate.
We provide training on procedural defences in motoring law cases and strategies for dealing with prosecution case management failures.
Applicants will have the ability to deal robustly with judicial hostility towards procedural defences and believe in the right of the client to be acquitted where the rule of law so requires irrespective of guilt or otherwise.
National Motoring Lawyers are a firm of solicitors dealing exclusively in drink driving related cases. The firm covers all courts in England and Wales.
