We are currently recruiting for a full time In-House Solicitor to join our Corporate Governance Team in Hertfordshire.

This is an opportunity to work for an international manufacturing group with its Head Office in Letchworth Garden City.  The Group has two distinct divisions: Safety Flooring (Altro) and Car Care Products (Autoglym) and this role will work across both.  To fulfil the role, you must not only keep up to date with relevant legal, statutory and regulatory requirements but also be able to juggle a varied and ever-changing workload.   

In this role you will provide internal departments with sound commercial legal advice, as well as advising the Board on commercial legal matters.  You will report to the Head of Corporate Governance and will work closely with the existing in-house solicitor to jointly deliver a professional, effective, high quality legal service to the businesses.  The role will be varied in nature due to the small size, but wide remit of the team.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a UK qualified solicitor who is able to work independently and take responsibility for the advice they give, whilst also being happy to work closely with another Solicitor, a Legal Assistant and the wider Corporate Governance team. 

As well as general commercial law, particular experience with marketing law, franchisees, agents, distributors and/or IP would be advantageous.
