Construction Litigation Associate: This Top 30 firm are gearing up for further international expansion. Already a large household name in the UK, Asia and the Middle East you will work on large Construction and Engineering Projects in both the UK and Internationally. With a particular strength inside the Energy Sector strengthened by the Diverse clients they work with, you will be further involved with the institutional clients across Industrial, Hotel, Leisure and Commercial industries.

You will be exposed to a high level of responsibility working with a Legal 500 ranked and Chambers department, working alongside leading individuals and Next Generation lawyers which will allow you to progress your career further.

The Role

This Top 30 firm are looking for a Construction Litigation Associate to join them in their Legal 500 ranked and Chambers ranked department within their City of London office.

The Construction team are based not only in London but across Asia and the Middle East with a dedicated team of specialist advising on Construction and Engineering Disputes around the world. The team act for a diverse client base of Private Developers, Contractors, Government Bodies, Public Authorities, Funders and other stakeholders involved in high value construction and engineering work.

You will be:

  • International commercial arbitration, particularly in relation to construction and engineering disputes;
  • Large and small adjudications;
  • Complex litigation in the Technology and Construction Court, including the Pre-Action Protocol;
  • Project advisory work; and
  • ADR processes, including mediation.


The department are particularly known for their work within the Energy sector including Oil & Gas, Power and Energy often recommended to be the go to firm with growing Renewable energy companies. You will benefit from the great exposure and the opportunity to progress.

The Requirements

  • You will be a Construction Solicitor with 2-5 years PQE (There is no upper limit for the level of PQE and more senior candidates will be taken into account for a senior position)
  • You will be currently working within a City or International practice.
  • Worked on Contentious Construction matters
  • Exposure to International matters preferred but not essential
  • You will receive an competitive salary and along with an excellent remuneration package.
