In House Lawyer

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an experienced in-house lawyer to join a fast-paced, growing healtcare/service company. The role will be diverse including employment, general commercial advisory work , negotiating and drafting contracts and commercial property but have a key focus on employment law. Candidates should therefore be qualified in England and Wales and able to demonstrate employment tribunal experience; advocacy experience will be an advantage.  This is a highly commercial role, working directly with key stakeholders and influencing business practice and processes. The company offers broad scope for flexible and remote working so whilst there will be travel across the UK to meetings, applicants can be based anywhere within the UK.  Critically, candidates should be able to work independently without close supervision, we anticipate candidates should have at least five years post-qualified experience, and a willing approach to tackle the wide variety of work likely to come across this in-house desk. Whilst candidates do not need to have every skill set for this role that is required they must be able to demonstrate significant employment law experience.
