Job Details

RTA Litigator/Solicitor

A market leading legal 500 law firm with offices in multiple cities is looking to expand its litigation team with competent personal injury fee earners.

Based in Liverpool city centre, you must have a minimum of 24 months experience dealing with Part 8 and Part 7 claims. You must be familiar with the full personal injury process and be capable of dealing with he claim from inception to completion.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within a fast paced environment.

On top of a competitive base salary of £45,000 you can also take advantage of a generous bonus structure.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a caseload of RTA claims using an automated, lean and efficient case workflow to achieve the best possible outcome for the client and the firm. There will be a mixture of cases from those with multiple medicals required to those with just special damages.
  • Progressing cases to trial if necessary including advising on liability and quantum, preparing for CMC’s, CCMC’s, other interlocutory hearings and trials.
  • Quantifying special damages including loss of earnings accurately.
  • Assessing basic hire rate evidence
  • To adopt a culture of clear, consistent and full data provision within the working environment.
  • To help identify continuous improvement to the operational function with regards to process, commercial and tactical practice
  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of all firm and client documentation and information.
