This firm is a nationally recognised law practice who have an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Commercial Litigation Lawyer (1+ PQE) to join their reputable team. Your new role
Based in the Exeter office, you will report to the head of the Exeter litigation team and other senior lawyers when needed and play an integral part in a range of work including contract disputes, professional negligence claims, shareholder, warranty and other live company disputes. In addition, you will gain experience with a broad range of other commercial litigation matters. You will work for PLC, private limited company and SME clients as well as for high net worth individuals.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have already gained some experience of working on a range of litigation matters and will be able to demonstrate your focus on being a proactive litigator who is able to use negotiation and ADR techniques to achieve your client's goals in dispute resolution. You will be 1+PQE and will be looking to expand your skills and knowledge, whilst being supported by experienced colleagues. Within that environment you will be given responsibility for your own cases and the guidance to begin to develop your own specialisation within the litigation team from the outset. You will ideally have good High Court and ADR experience and you will have gained some experience of working directly with clients and will have developed confidence in handling their matters proactively.

You will have an eye for detail and be meticulous in your work. You will have the ability to build strong and lasting relationships with clients and show a genuine commitment to their business needs.
