ABOUT US

Ellisons Solicitors is a top 200 UK firm, and one of the region’s oldest, most established and fastest growing firms with a team of almost 250 colleagues, including 29 partners– the firm has six offices located across Essex and Suffolk, alongside an office in London: Colchester, Chelmsford, Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds, Tendring (Clacton-on-Sea and Frinton-on-Sea).

Ellisons’ continued aim is to consolidate our position as a trusted adviser and leading provider of legal and financial services to businesses and individuals, primarily in the existing locations, but also on an international basis. Whilst the majority of the firm’s clients are based or have some connection to Essex or Suffolk, many are located further afield; from London to Europe, and beyond - aided by membership of the Alliott Global Alliance (a worldwide alliance of independent professional firms).

Ellisons’ exceptional longevity can be attributed to our tradition of proactive, friendly and highly personalised client service. Also fundamental to our success is our commitment to developing long term relationships with clients, and our willingness to change and evolve to meet and exceed client demands. Everything Ellisons does revolves around its clients including the implementation of its internal management style and processes. An open, friendly and supportive working environment at Ellisons ultimately benefits clients and ensures that they become advocates of Ellisons. This is recognised by its national Law Society’s law management quality mark, Lexcel, which it has been awarded for the fourth year running.  Ellisons is also recognised by the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme accreditation and consistently ranked as a leading law firm in The Legal 500 and Chambers.

Ellisons is also committed to playing an active and supportive role in the communities within which they work, supporting charities, clubs, associations and not-for-profit organisations wherever possible. This is something that has always been important to Ellisons, throughout its very long history.
