Commercial Litigation Lawyer

We are working with a leading international commercial law firm who are looking to add a talented Commercial Litigation lawyer to their team based in Manchester. It would suit a qualified solicitor who has between 1 and 3 years PQE.

This is a national commercial disputes group working across teams in London, Manchester and Liverpool, therefore you will be advising clients across all offices and not just Manchester. It is a large team, consisting of around 20 lawyers, spread across a full range of experience from trainee to 7 highly respected Partners.

The role is within a practice which has well varied experience across both general commercial dispute work and more specialist work; including in relation to procurement challenges and IP disputes. The team act for corporate clients in relation to complex litigation both in the UK and internationally.

You will be an enthusiastic commercial litigator looking to widen your knowledge and be experienced in one or more of the following areas: public procurement challenges, shareholder disputes involving AIM listed Plcs and/or international arbitration.

Client interaction is a must: you will embrace getting involved with business development, and really enjoy developing internal and external relationships. From these you will help to generate opportunities that can be converted into work the team can get engaged with.
