Childcare Lawyer - Management

LAW Absolute are working with a local authority based in the North West of England who are seeking a Childcare Lawyer Manager for a period of six months.

The successful candidate will not only be a qualified Lawyer with a current practising certificate but will possess significant management experience. You will manage the Team Leader within the department and their wider team of Lawyers and Paralegals. As the Childcare Lawyer-Manager your role will be more strategic and will involve dealing with corporate complaints, advising on publications relating to serious case reviews, alongside, more day-to-day management issues. It is essential you have sound childcare law knowledge as the team will come to you for advice on complex casework etc.

Due to the urgent nature of the role, our client is looking to have someone on board by no later than Monday 8^th March 2021. We therefore require candidates to be available on no more than two weeks notice. This is currently a remote working position. Management experience within the public sector is highly advantageous.
