Defendant Clinical Negligence (NQ - 5yrs PQE)

Our client is a Legal 100 firm, and the Clinical Negligence and Healthcare teams enjoys an exceptional reputation.

New openings have arisen within the team, which are likely to appeal to medical negligence lawyers with up to 5 yrs' PQE.  As well as managing your own caseload, you will receive excellent hands-on training whilst assisting highly experienced lawyers on more complex and high value loss files. 

Retained on prestigious panels and highly ranked in directories, the team offers a wealth of expertise.  It attracts excellent quality instructions covering all aspects of healthcare litigation including medical negligence, consent and access to treatment issues, human rights and patient safety concerns.  

You will be engaged in an interesting range of litigated cases including failure, delay and misdiagnosis claims across various medical disciplines such as:

• Emergency Services Treatment
• A&E,
• Surgery,
• Oncology,
• Cardiology
• ENT,
• Respiratory & Anaesthesia
• Paediatrics
• Obstetrics and & Gynaecology,
• Orthopaedics & Amputation

This is a friendly and supportive team, which will provide excellent mentoring.  As you career develops, there will be the opportunity to specialise in niche areas if you so wish.

Ideally you will have defendant experience (be that via NHSLA, private hospitals and clinics, professional bodies) although applications from high calibre, claimant lawyers are welcomed.
