The Opportunity

A high street, regional law firm has plans to grow their successful Private Client teams across Cardiff and Brecon.  The firm are looking for a Senior Wills and Probate Senior Solicitor to manage a case load, with a Private Client Tax focus and to also grow the client base by doing business development.  You will be senior in experience and supervisory experience is desirable but not essential. The office is based in Central Cardiff with local parking and fantastic public transport links and will require some travel to Brecon.

This is what you’ll be doing

You will join as a Senior Solicitor, managing a busy case load of Private Client matters to include:

• Tax
• Wills
• Probate
• Trusts
• Deeds of variation
• Estate planning
• Inheritance tax planning
• Inheritance disputes
• POAs
• Court of Protection

You will manage a case load and also grow your client base.

The experience you’ll bring to the team

• A qualified Solicitor / CILEx Lawyer
• A PQE of 4+
• STEP qualified is highly desirable but not essential
• Experience within Private Client Law
• Excellent communication skills
• Commercially aware]
• Experienced in business development
