The local authority has a broad range of ambitious projects underway; with a major regeneration programme, a large strategic housing programme, innovative work in sustainable energy and habitat restoration, and ongoing sector leading digital transformation.

The Council has continued delivering on its programmes throughout the pandemic, and you will relish this kind of professional challenge, where adaptivity, creativity and pace are highly valued.

You will demonstrate managerial leadership values and behavioural competencies, providing positive leadership, acting with openness, honesty and integrity, and instilling a clear sense of direction and pace.
