Are you a senior associate who is seeking a pathway to Partnership? Perhaps you have hit a glass ceiling and seeking a route for progression.

This Tier 1 department are looking for a specialist Court of Protection Senior Associate to join their forward thinking and entrepreneurial firm. You will be given all the support to grow and mould the wider Private Client Department in their Leeds office.

The Role

The firm is seeking a Court of Protection Senior Associate to join their flourishing Manchester office.

The private client department has grown year on year and is highly ranked in the legal 500. They deal with a high quality of work, focusing on quality, with solicitors dealing with manageable caseloads.

The private client department is currently thriving, they deal with a varied caseload, often acting for HNW individuals, company owner's entrepreneurs. They have a particular expertise acting for entrepreneurial and landed clients predominately in the north with an emphasises on succession planning through trusts and wills.

You will be at the forefront of this growing department, working in one of the growing offices and will become instrumental in developing this department. You will be given the support of the firm, to which the private client department have a seat on the Board.

You will specialise in Court of Protection matters with a degree general private client work.

Requirements

  • You will be a Court of Protection Solicitor with at least 6 years PQE (there is no upper limit in regard to the amount of PQE)
  • You will have good experience of running your own high-quality Court of Protection caseload
  • Energy, drive and enthusiasm are key
  • You will be a panel deputy with a portable book of work
  • You will have a meticulous eye for detail
  • Excellent communication and client care skills are necessary

Remuneration

  • Salary is negotiable depending on your level of PQE, plus an excellent benefits package
