Job Details

Are you looking for an opportunity to work for an ambitious law firm that offers lucrative earning potential and engaging high-quality work? This opportunity will see you undertake stimulating work on behalf of a high-profile client base, working with clients from exciting start-ups to household FTSE 250 names. You will also find your earning potential increase significantly with a competitive base salary and outstanding bonus structure.

The Firm:

This firm is multi-award winning and has received numerous accolades in national press in recent years. They have gone from strength to strength throughout 2020 and have ambitious plans to build on this in the coming years. This ambition is shared across the firm, and everyone from Managing Partner to support staff have a clear vision for the future and know what is required to get there. In addition to building on the organic growth they have achieved in the UK, they have plans to expand on to the international stage as their client base becomes increasingly global. This means that the opportunity to progress and grow with the firm is genuinely unlimited.

The firm has a long and deep-rooted history, dating as far back as the 18th Century. Whilst this means that they have an impressive roster of loyal clients, their fresh, modern and cutting-edge approach mean they are continually attracting new, and more prominent clients too. They have established themselves as the 'go-to' firm across several sectors, with a particular focus on insurance, commerce, and the health and care industry. You will find a range of clients, from OMBs and start-ups, through to multinationals and the public sector, making for a diverse and exciting caseload.

The reason for the firm's rapid growth over the past five years comes down to the talented individuals, that are a mix of homegrown, up and coming lawyers and strategic hires that have seen them enter a trajectory that is the envy of their competitors. This means that you can expect to be surrounded by some of the UK's most technically strong lawyers, whilst having the opportunity to progress your career in line with the firm's growth.

As with all modern businesses, the firm embraces agile working, and you can split your time between the home and office, which has resulted in a sharp increase in productivity since being implemented. With significant investment in technology, wherever you are, you will be connected with your colleagues and will be able to communicate and collaborate effectively.

The Role:

You will join this Legal 500 recognised Corporate team as an Associate, in the firm's state of the art Liverpool office.

The Corporate department deals with a broad client base across many industry sectors, focusing on, but not limited to, insurance, technology, and e-commerce. You will have a genuinely varied caseload, with clients ranging from entrepreneurs, OMBs and start-ups, through to multinationals, public sector organisations, and global household names.

The caseload will involve M&A, restructuring and reorganisations, shareholder agreements, transfer and allotment of shares, and flotation of companies on the AIM. You will have a high level of autonomy with the responsibility of your caseload, whilst assisting the department's respected and experienced Partners on more complex matters. This will give you exposure to work that you wouldn't expect to see at this level.

This role comes with excellent prospects for progression, with a clear route through to Partner level, a well-trodden path for many of those who make up their current Partnership. If you are looking for an opportunity that can offer a step up, the highest quality of work, and lucrative earning potential, this is one not to be missed.

Requirements:

* You will be a Corporate Lawyer with a minimum of 2 years' experience (there is no upper limit in regards to the amount of experience)
* You should have experience across all aspects of Corporate Law
* Experience within the insurance, technology or e-commerce sectors is preferred, but not essential
* Have a keen eye for detail
* You will be a commercially minded individual and will thrive on building client relationships and marketing your practice
* You will have the ability to manage your caseload and client expectations whilst working in synergy with the wider team
