A national law firm recognised as a leading provider of legal services to the health, social care, housing and emergency services sectors, as well as in the field of professional discipline require a 1 to 3 years PQE Employment Solicitor.
A national firm employing over 500 staff with a 50 strong Employment department. The practice has proven to be very effective in working across thriving legal disciplines and they've many long established clients in both the private and public sector.
The Employment Solicitor will join Employment team recognised as a leading supplier of employment law services to NHS bodies, carries out work for around 200 NHS and private healthcare bodies throughout the UK, alongside clients in all other major sectors.
The role will involve working on a range of contentious and non-contentious matters including general employment advisory work, the handling of employment tribunal claims, whistleblowing, high profile cases, advising on reorganisation and redundancy issues and the application of healthcare legislation to routine employment law scenarios.
The Employment Solicitor, 1 to 3 years PQE, will have good client handling skills and be able to work well with other team members whilst previous experience in the field of healthcare or public sector is strongly preferred, it is not essential. Candidates will however be expected to be able to demonstrate at interview that they are self-motivated and commercially minded, as well as having good interpersonal skills and being able to work effectively in teams.
