Blackburn

Up to £25,000

A leading, multi-service Law Firm based in Blackburn is looking to recruit a Legal Cashier to their team.

Working as part of a busy and friendly team, your main responsibility would be to work in the close-knit accounts department reporting into the Accounts Manager in the provision of financial services to the practice in cashier/ bookkeeping duties.

Some responsibilities will include but not exclusive to:

Producing Monthly Financial Reports and assisting with Year End reports

Entering of bills and executing telegraphic transfers.

Ensuring that all authorised invoices are dealt with in a timely manner.

Producing budgets, profit, and loss reports.

VAT Returns & assisting with payroll.

You must have recent practical experience and background as a legal cashier. Experience with Proclaim and SAGE would be advantageous but not essential. You must have good working knowledge of accounting principles and credit control and be able to handle client enquiries both face to face and telephone.

Knowledge of Proclaim Accounts and SAGE is desirable.

The ideal candidate would be somebody who is figure minded, accurate with a good attention to detail and willing to work as a team.

It's an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to the legal sector and develop your bookkeeping skills. Salary dependent on experience.
