You will be part of an award-winning team, on the panels for most of the high-profile Planning mandates in the UK. You will work with leading individuals implementing the firm's strategy in their Leeds office.

The Role

This Top 50 firm are looking for a Planning Partner to join them in their Legal 500 ranked and Chambers ranked department within their Manchester office.

You will be part of a wider award-winning Real Estate team, working within the Legal 500 Chambers and Partners recognised Planning department. Real Estate and the specialist teams within account for 40% of this firm as such you will be working on the most complex and high-profile matters.

The Planning specialist team works with commercial and residential developers, investors, retail and leisure operators, social housing bodies, major corporate occupiers, banks and other funders and a range of public sector bodies on some of the UK's most complex and challenging urban regeneration schemes, along with mixed use, residential, retail and private rented sector (PRS) developments.

You will have supporting private and public sector clients on all aspects of planning, highways and compulsory purchase law, balancing their strategic objectives with the various demands placed upon them by the planning system.

Requirements

  • You will be a Planning Partner with at least 8 years PQE (There is no upper limit for the level of PQE)
  • You will be currently working within a Top National firm or heavyweight regional firm
  • Worked within a respectable Real Estate group.
  • Exposure to a broad range of Planning matters.
