This team works from Exeter and Bristol offices, and they take a flexible approach to cross office working and working remotely and would be open to the successful candidate working in either of these locations.

Your new role
You will report directly to the experienced Partner and play an integral part in a wide range of work, across the full range of non-contentious commercial services. The team specialise in advising companies of varying sizes, from entrepreneurial start-ups to major international organisations, helping them achieve their commercial goals. The role will encompass working on a variety of commercial matters with a real emphasis on the technology sector including privacy and data protection issues. The firm pride themselves on their technology sector and work with clients from exciting entrepreneurial start ups to household names and huge blue-chip companies.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an ambitious Commercial lawyer, circa 2+ PQE, with good general commercial and contract knowledge and experience. Experience of working within the technology sector would be useful but not essential and you must be able to use your initiative while working as part of a team. You will have an eye for detail and be meticulous in your work. You will have the ability to build strong and lasting relationships with clients and show a genuine commitment to their business needs. Ideally, you will have prior experience of working with a diverse range of clients having worked in a commercial team.
