You’ll join just a handful of law firms doing meaningful private client work on the island, so there is an abundance of interesting work on offer. What’s more, because of the Isle of Man’s low tax rates and the wealth of many islanders, you’ll be exposed to a quality of work that you might not otherwise come across outside of London. 

Alongside handling a varied existing caseload, you’ll lead the team and have the opportunity to grow the private client team further. 

The firm are incredibly flexible and offer agile and home working to all their lawyers. They’re also open to the right candidate working part-time if you’d like to reduce your hours.

Head of Private Client – Isle of Man (relocation opportunity)  The company & role

In this role, you’ll join a knowledgeable team and handle a complete mix of private client work, from straightforward wills (without the need to be mindful of tax efficiency on the Island) to working with ultra-high-net-worth clients 
You will also be involved in giving talks to local care homes and community providers 
You will be supported by the firm’s director and an assistant but won’t be micro-managed

The ideal candidate   

A driven Private Client Solicitor with 7+ years’ PQE 
Will be experienced in all aspects of wills and probate work 
Will have an empathetic and caring nature and excellent client care skills 
Will be a good communicator 
Will be STEP qualified 
Will enjoy working as part of a small team
