Commercial Insurance Solicitor (NQ - 2 PQE)

In this Commercial Insurance Solicitor role, you will join a national commercial law firm at their office in Birmingham. As part of the firm’s Financial and Professional Risk team, you will advise clients in the insurance and financial services sectors on commercial and regulatory issues. 

The firm is committed to developing its non-contentious insurance offering and, as a result, there is excellent potential for development and progression for the right candidate.  

This is a rare opportunity for an ambitious lawyer at the beginning of their career to advise composite insurers, brokers and Managing General Agents on policy coverage. 

Commercial Insurance Solicitor – Birmingham The company & role

In this role you will work on behalf of insurers, brokers, MGAs and other intermediaries 
Your duties will include: drafting insurance policy wordings, drafting and advising on the compliance and regulatory aspects of commercial agreements and undertaking due diligence on behalf of brokers in the course of their acquisitions

The ideal candidate 

A Commercial Insurance Solicitor or CILEX with 0-2 years’ PQE 
Will have some experience of advising on policy coverage 
Will have excellent interpersonal skills 
Will have a keen eye for detail 
Will be well organised and be able to manage your time well 

Will be an articulate and confident communicator
