If you are a Senior Associate who is ready to take the next step in your career, or a Partner looking to get away from the politics of a bigger firm and make your mark on an exciting, upcoming boutique law firm, then read on.

The Firm:

This is a boutique Family law specialist in Liverpool City Centre, widely recognised as leaders in private Family law. They are going from strength to strength and have built their reputation on providing high-quality legal services to a broad range of established clients. This has seen them receive firm and individual rankings in Chambers UK and Legal 500.

The firm revolutionised how they work and implemented technology and AI in its early stages, allowing them to get ahead of the curve and ensure its lawyers were equipped to compete and succeed in a competitive market. This forward-thinking and cutting-edge approach, along with their high level of specialist knowledge, has seen them become the 'go-to' Family law firm in Liverpool for HNW and UHNW individuals. You will find that the work is often on par with the big players in the City and you can expect to undertake high profile and high-value matters, making for an interesting and dynamic flow of work.

You will find that the firm prioritises client service and success over unrealistic billable hour targets which has ensured that not only do they have an impressive roster of loyal clients, but their staff turnover is second to none. Over 80% of their current team have been with the firm for 10+ years.

The firm operates a genuinely collaborative environment where each individual is aligned to its goals and ambitions, making for a high performing and collegiate working environment. They are a highly profitable practice and have continued to grow year on year, despite the effects of coronavirus, and this continued growth is where you come in.

The Role:

This leading Family law specialist is looking for a commercially astute, entrepreneurial Partner to drive the firm forward and realise ambitious growth plans set out for the coming years. You will lead a close-knit team of talented individuals in their brand new office in Liverpool City Centre.

You will handle a caseload of high-quality private Family matters, on behalf of a diverse client base made up of HNW and high profile individuals with assets and interests often worth over £100mil. The work is varied and includes divorce, finance, separation, prenups, and child law.

As a Partner in the firm, you will be given full autonomy and responsibility for driving the growth, both in terms of headcount and turnover, as the firm looks to build on highly successful periods of record profits. You will join a heavy-hitting cohort of Partners and have a seat at the table from day one, having real influence over critical decisions that will affect direction, growth and culture.

Working alongside the firm's respected Partners, you will have direct responsibility for three talented Associates, overseeing their development and progression, whilst identifying areas of growth for the firm, in line with their future growth plans. You will also be heavily involved in recruitment as the firm looks to expand its headcount and cater to demand.

This is an exciting opportunity to become a crucial member of the firm, offering a highly lucrative remuneration package, and a realistic prospect of obtaining equity in the near future.

Requirements:

  • You will be a Family Partner with at least eight years' experience within Family Law
  • Able to confidently handle a caseload of Private Family matters including divorce and finance, separation, cohabitation, prenups, and child law
  • Have excellent communication skills
