The post holder will be required to carry out work within the Licensing Communities and Corporate section, in the area of Adult Social Care law, but also one other area of work within the section if required.  The section covers the following areas of work: Licensing, Adult Social Care, Employment, Education, Prosecutions, Anti-Social Behaviour and Information Governance.

The successful candidate will be a solicitor or barrister entitled to hold a practising certificate or FCILEx who will work in a lively and busy team of lawyers involved in a stimulating, challenging and rewarding environment.

It is essential that the successful candidate has good interpersonal skills, is able to prioritise their own workload, act as an advocate in contested hearings and work to tight court deadlines. They must be able to work as part of a team and be flexible, enthusiastic and committed.
