Fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Company Secretary to join a nationally recognisable plc with strong core values, in a newly created role reporting into the GC and Company Secretary.

This is a hugely important role and day to day responsibilities will include; drafting and reviewing committee, agenda, minutes, resolutions, appointing directors, drafting RNS Announcements, issuing shares, supporting the People team on Share scheme compliance, filing documents with Companies House, maintaining corporate books and records for UK entities and assisting with the with drafting the Governance section of the Annual report.

You'll deputise for the Co Se at committee meeting and prepare minutes and help prepare and deliver presentations/ training sessions to educate and up-skill the Legal team on a variety of topics, supporting the business by keeping up to date with governance developments and horizon scanning for changes which will impact policy and practice.

The ideal candidate with either be ICSA Qualified Company Secretary or a Practising Solicitor with relevant company secretarial experience and the role is based in South Yorkshire with the ability to work roughly 50% of the time from home
