Corporate Tax Solicitor

A UK Top 50 law firm, are looking for an energetic and entrepreneurial Solicitor to join their market leading Corporate Tax and Incentives team.  This is a full time, permanent role based in their state-of-the-art Bristol office, however this role is currently fully remote. This role is suited to a motivated NQ-3PQE Solicitor who has a strong understanding of UK corporation tax, and is looking to rapidly progress their career in a highly regarded and collaborative team.

This is what you’ll be doing

• Work with the Tax and Incentives team and lead projects (with supervision) and handle client relationships
• Dealing with all aspects of Corporate Tax including drafting and negotiating tax provisions in share purchases and asset purchase agreements
• Implement employee share plans for both private and listed companies
• Handle the tax implications of real estate transactions
• Play an active role in developing the department, including undertaking business development activities
• Provide an exceptional service to clients, and strive to be an expert in the sector to ensure that you are providing valuable commercial advice
• Consistently deliver profitable results for both the firm and your clients

The experience you’ll bring to the team

• Qualified Solicitor (NQ-3PQE)
• Experience working within Corporate Tax/Incentives/Pensions
• Broad understanding of UK Corporation Tax, VAT and stamp duty land tax
• Experience in implementing employer share plans and dealing with the maturity of employee share plans
• Excellent academics and ideally experience working within a commercial Top 100 firm
• Motivated to develop excellent client relationships, with a keen enthusiasm to implement business development initiatives
