THE ROLE:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and passionate Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a busy family team in the North East. The successful Family Solicitor / Legal Executive will work alongside the existing family team and will handle their own varied caseload of Family Law matters. The caseload will include some parent care proceedings therefore experience of this work would be advantageous. The appointed candidate must be committed to providing a significant financial contribution to the department and be comfortable with supervising the work of secretaries, trainees and paralegals when required.

THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are sought from Family Solicitors or Legal Executives who possess a minimum of 2 years’ experience handling a mixed caseload of Private and Publicly Funded Family matters. In order to be considered for this role, applicants must have sound experience of Family Law gained within an established Family Team and experience managing support staff would also be an advantage. Excellent organisational and communication skills are essential along with a self-starter approach to tasks and projects.
