Commercial Property & Regeneration Lawyer

LAW Absolute are working with a local authority based in central southern England who are seeking a Commercial Property and Regeneration Lawyer for three months initially.

The successful Commercial Property and Regeneration Lawyer will be required to undertake the following:

• To act as the lead lawyer on important strategic commercial property and regeneration matters.
• To undertake detailed reports on title and relevant searches across development schemes and project proposals.
• Advise on Compulsory Purchase Orders (CPO’s).
• Handle a complex acquisition and disposals of land caseload including all non-contentious work arising out of the council’s property portfolio including leases, licences, deeds and agreements.
• Work in partnership with external bodies on major developments and regeneration projects.

It is essential that you can demonstrate an ability to pick up an existing complex property and regeneration caseload and have a proven track record in this area. You will need to have a current practising certificate.

The client is ideally looking for someone to start on the 4^th April 2021. Previous local government experience is highly advantageous.
