SALARY:                       Up to c£60,000 DOE

The successful Junior Family Advocate will join an existing team of fee earners, paralegals, support staff and a Senior in-house Counsel. The postholder will be responsible for representing clients of the firm on a broad range of privately funded Family matters, advise in conference and provide written advice to clients and undertake advocacy in respect of FDAs, FDRs, FHDRAs, DRAs, interlocutory applications and final hearings. The appointed Junior Family Advocate can also expect to deliver internal training to the Family team as well as external seminars to prospective clients on a broad spectrum of issues. This role is currently being conducted by a mixture of remote and office working.

Applications are sought from experienced Advocates who possess at least 2 years’ experience in Family Law. In order to be considered for this role, applicants must have a broad range of experience in privately funded family matters, in particular financial remedy and children cases. Candidate’s considering applying for this role must be committed to working with the Heads of Department in developing the Family department and confident in their ability to generate work by way of referrals.

This Top 100 law firm are continually expanding as a result of their success. Their family teams across the country offer expertise and support to clients in relation to divorce, civil partnership dissolution, negotiating a prenuptial agreement or children matters, amongst many others.
