An excellent opportunity has arisen at a leading law firm in Sheffield who are seeking to recruit a Unauthorised Collective Investment Schemes (UCIS) Litigator to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for litigators experienced in this field of law to further enhance their careers. In the role, you will handle Clients claims for compensation from inception to conclusion, advising clients in this complex but essential area of law.
Areas of law you will advise on include financial mis-selling, inadequate financial advice, unsuitable investment advice, scheme insolvency and conveyancing solicitor negligence. You will run your own cases according to the required timeframes, assessing the claim at the outset and taking each claim to its conclusion.
You will ideally have a good level of experience in this field of law and possess excellent technical skills and abilities. You will also be a confident candidate who can deal with a wide array of Clients, often including high net worth individuals. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a close attention to detail as well as good organisation and teamwork skills. You will also be a proactive candidate who can use their own initiative to assess and solve problems presented to them and have excellent client care in order that you can keep your Client updated of the progress of their case at all times.
