Following an increase in client base and successful growth of the company, the legal team is looking to hire an in-house commercial contracts adviser to focus on drafting and negotiating supplier terms.

Your new role
Working as part of a talented and growing in-houose legal department, you will work in a broad role where you will be responsible for drafting, negotiating and reviewing a range of commercial contracts as well as providing advice on supplier terms. You will specifically support the team dedicated to providing services to public sector clients, as such, previous experience in negotiating public sector procurement agreements and working within operational frameworks would be an advantage.

What you'll need to succeed
You must have a strong appreciation for contract law with experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements. You will either be a seasoned commercial contracts officer / manager or in-house legal assistant with commercial contracts experience or have worked as a commercial contracts paralegal in private practice. Ideally you will have a legal academic background either as a law / LPC graduate or working towards CILEX qualification. You must have excellent communication and relationship building skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and challenge where necessary.

You will be offered a salary up to £28,000 depending on experience, plus benefits.
