This is an outstanding opportunity for a qualified Barrister to work in-house within a leading UK law firm based in their London office. .
The Firm
Employs over 450 staff across the UK and has a long established list of clients from both the private and public sector. The firm has continued to thrive in these adverse times and continue to recruit new hires.
The Role
Working closely with Regulatory bodies the Barrister will prosecute professionals in alleged misconduct cases.
Advocacy typically involves interim and substantive hearings.
Hearings are usually contested and in the majority of cases
Opportunities to appear in the High Court and the First Tier Tribunal on appeals from decisions of the regulators.
The Candidate
A qualified Barrister with at least 2+ year's call, ideally, with previous experience in the field of regulation and professional discipline is strongly preferred, it is not essential. Experience or the ability to supervise more junior lawyers is essential.
Salary to dependent upon experience.
