Job Details
My client is a progressive and forward-thinking drug development and manufacturing accelerator, which has enjoyed rapid growth over the last 3-5 years. Enjoying support Private Equity backing and stellar management, the group looks to double in the next 5 year both organically and by acquisition. As a consequence the group's established legal department now requires a commercial lawyer to complement the existing team.
The ideal candidate will preferably have some previous In-house experience and likely to have around 3-6 years PQE in commercial law. Experience of the Pharma sector would be very much welcomed, but this is not as essential as your solutions orientated and positive approach to negotiations. You are likely to be engaging with a variety of customers ranging from some of the biggest names in the pharmaceutical sector, all the way along to smaller virtual Biotech start-ups - Our strength is appreciating that its not "one size fits all."
Whilst a significant proportion of the role will be related to commercial contracts, focused on the review and negotiation of contracts as well as providing advice on data protection issues there will also an opportunity to assist and/or lead on projects in other areas of business law such as corporate, disputes, mergers and acquisitions and property matters, with the support of external counsel as appropriate.
It's a hugely supportive, friendly and flexibility team and they are open to candidates who wish to work in either their Nottingham or North East offices, or remotely with a minimum of 1 day per week in the office once Covid restrictions ease. We anticipate the salary is likely to be in the region of £50-£60k
