Role Overview

In joining this firm as an employment solicitor, you will become part of an established international practice with a strong presence in the London market. On offer is the chance to join a team offering a mixture of contentious and non-contentious matters.

The work undertaken is diverse and includes advising on:

• breach of restrictive covenants
• duty of fidelity and fiduciary duty issues arising on team moves in various industry sectors
• advice on TUPE, restructuring, redundancies, discrimination, disciplinaries, dismissals and grievances
• advising both employers and employees in relation to unfair and wrongful dismissal, breach of contract, unlawful deduction of wages and discrimination claims

Candidate Profile

The firm is seeking an Employment Lawyer who can demonstrate:

• Minimum of 3 years' PQE in employment work. Ideally you will have experience of contentious and non-contentious work.
• Strong academic background
• Willing to get involved in marketing and business development of the department
• Excellent communication skills
• Experienced in running own files (you will be responsible for the day to day running of a caseload)
