The Team

The firms specialist technology team continues to be at the forefront of the sector.

Key practice areas include:

Commercial trading, including terms of supply and purchase;
IT software licences and software as service agreements;
IT system integrations;
Franchising, concessions;
Managed services and outsourcing agreements;
Partnership and joint venture agreements;
Introducer agreements;
Consultancy and marketing agreements;
International trade;
Consumer protection;
Privacy, data protection and information management; and
EU and competition law

The Role

This Firm is seeking a Commercial Solicitor 1-3 years PQE to join them at their office in the City of London.

They would not expect a candidate to have experience in all of the above areas, but the right candidate will have a firm grounding in general commercial contract law (including technology agreements) and a working understanding of data protection law and intellectual property.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within key strategic sectors such as the Technology & Innovation sector group.

The group helps tech-focused businesses to realise the potential of new technologies, developing ideas to help them realise commercial success.

Requirements:

• Experience in commercial contract drafting and advice on intellectual property and data protection issues
• Experience in software licensing/ IT & communications hardware/ systems and/or support services agreements
• Corporate support - undertaking due diligence from an IP, IT and data protection perspective
