Construction Lawyer

This specialist construction team is involved in an impressive and comprehensive range of construction projects for a broad client base that includes private and public institutions, property owners, developers, funders, contractors, specialist sub-contractors, suppliers and construction/design consultants. Much of the team’s focus is in the UK, but lawyers also advise on a range of projects internationally.

The team is currently hiring construction lawyers from newly qualified level upwards and whilst the principal focus of the role is non-contentious, the opportunity to get involved in some contentious work is likely.

Candidates will ideally have previous experience of working at a large firm with an established construction team, handling non-contentious construction law but with some experience of disputes avoidance and construction litigation. Also sought is a good working knowledge of the various JCT form contracts as well as the desire to become involved in bespoke, complex agreements.
