Are you actively seeking a new Costs Draftsperson opportunity?
The Role:
My client, a Top 100 UK Law Firm, are currently looking for a Costs Draftsperson to join their established team in London, dealing with defendant Clinical Negligence matters. Acting for a wide range of clients in both the public and private sectors, the department has in the region of 80 fee earners.
The successful candidate will have a range of duties and responsibilities, which will include but will not be limited to Drafting Bills of Costs and Points of Dispute, negotiating Settlement of Costs, preparing Precedent H Costs Budgets and preparing Statements of Costs.
Requirements:
To be considered for this vacancy, you will have at least 1 year of experience within defendant matters, ideally with Clinical Negligence experience. You will have strong technical knowledge, good understanding of current CPR and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, analytical skills and organisational skills are required in order to be effective at this position. The successful candidate will also have solid IT proficiency and be able to ensure compliance with internal case management requirements, client procedures and KPIs.
