Are you actively seeking a new Costs opportunity?

The Role:

My client, an award winning Legal 500 Law Firm in Manchester, are currently looking for a Senior Costs Draftsman to their team. The team deal with a range of costing matters relating to Clinical Negligence, Personal Injury, Employers Liability, Public Liability and Road Traffic Accidents.

Your duties will include but not be limited to, assessing and drafting Bills of Costs, schedules of costs, costs negotiations, preparing budgets, points of reply, providing advice to clients and attending hearings. This position will be a split of both office-based and remote-based working.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you will have at least 3 years of costs experience, managing your own caseload with the ability to work independently. It is important that you can work from your initiative and effectively prioritise your workload to manage your schedule, in order to meet client SLA's.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, as well as solid IT skills and good working knowledge of current CPR.
