Head of Corporate

The firm currently has an abundance of high-quality Corporate work; however, they are currently sending this out externally. They are looking to capitalise on this wealth of work by bringing in an experienced Corporate Lawyer to head up their Corporate team and build out their Corporate offering.

The Role:

This is a rare opportunity for a Senior Corporate Lawyer to join a well-established, profitable boutique law firm, to set up and build out their Corporate team.

You will act on behalf of a diverse and growing client base across various industry sectors. The current caseload includes M&A, restructuring and reorganisations, and shareholder agreements.

Whilst they have a significant amount of Corporate work coming in, they are looking for an ambitious, entrepreneurial individual to build their Corporate offering from the ground up. You will have a flair for business development, building strong client relationships, and be passionate about growing the Corporate team. The Partners in the firm will give you full support and backing, but you will have complete autonomy over the department; you will have the final say in key decisions that influence this exciting venture's direction and growth.

Requirements:

• You will be a Corporate Lawyer with a minimum of 8 years' experience (there is no upper limit in regards to the amount of experience)
• You should have experience across all aspects of Corporate Law
• Have a keen eye for detail
• You will be a commercially minded individual and will thrive on building client relationships and marketing your practice
• Ability to provide an exceptional client service
• An existing client base would be beneficial, but not essential
