Construction Solicitor / Associate (4 PQE+)
Commercial Litigation
ADR
Company description
We are a small but growing practice, based on the border of Northamptonshire and Leicestershire, with easy access to the M1, M6 and A14 road networks. We specialise in construction and engineering law, in particular the resolution of commercial disputes by way of litigation and adjudication, and we are looking to recruit a solicitor with a sound background in litigation and ADR.
The person
Suitable candidates will have 4 years plus PQE, with at least 3 years’ experience in commercial litigation. Experience of ADR methods, in particular arbitration and adjudication, will be a distinct advantage, and you will be able to run you own caseload.
A thorough understanding with extensive working experience of the CPR is essential, although experience of construction and engineering disputes is preferred but not essential as training and support will be provided.
The successful candidate will be hard working, enthusiastic, conscientious with an eye for detail and self-motivated, and looking for a career path that will very quickly lead to a senior position in the firm.
You will also have good social skills and the ability to promote the practice. You will be working alongside, and supported by, the senior partner, who is also a practising adjudicator and accredited expert in the field of planning and quantum.
This is a full-time and permanent position, with a negotiable start date. An attractive salary and benefits package awaits the successful applicant.
This is a great opportunity to get on board a young, dynamic and ambitious practice operating in a very niche and rewarding market sector.
In the first instance, please email your CV to our practice secretary, Amelia (amelia.g@mg-law.co.uk).
