I am currently instructed with this key strategic role for a Legal Director (or aspiring Legal Director), to lead a team of fee earners and be the key point of contact for partners and senior fee earners in corporate, in addition to high profile clients in relation to key deals.
Your primary focus would be on the commercial elements of corporate transactions - to include due diligence (commercial contracts and IT), transitional service arrangements, commercial/IT input on disclosure and warranties. The substantial and growing corporate team have a consistent pipeline of interesting and varied deals - all of which generate a need for commercial/IT input.
Due to the fact that you and your team will be sometimes be working to tight timescales, the firm is very open to a flexible working approach (and can be made bespoke to the successful lawyer).
Experience in a large firm of working with corporate teams on transactions would be a big advantage. No following is required for this key senior hire.
